Recently, this festival has changed its name and is now known as the Plymouth Folk Roots Festival.
This folk festival consists of a variety of enjoyable events such as music concerts and dance performances. Most of the artistes who present this entertainment are from
Plymouth, and the folk extravaganza that results is a measure of the talent and cultural diversity that exists in Plymouth. This festival should not be missed for the singers, dancers and musicians who put on a great show.
The heritage-rich waterfront of the city, in the Mayflower and Barbican areas, and in the Plymouth City Centre, is the venue for the Plymouth Folk Festival or the Plymouth Folk Roots Festival, as it is now called. A big stage is set up at the Place de Brest, where some memorable concerts and shows are held.
